The mission of the El Dorado County Historical Society is to honor the people who came before us by rescuing, preserving, researching, and displaying El Dorado County’s rich history, and to ensure that its significance will be appreciated for generations to come.

Whether you are an individual, family, business, or organization, we hope you will join us and contribute to the rescue, preservation, research, and retelling of El Dorado County’s unique history.
